Help Ukraine Heal

Donate to support our 2026 campaign to expand access to nature education and healing in wartime Ukraine.

Seven of Ukraine’s largest public gardens have developed projects to substantially increase their capacity to host nature education and healing programs. A key common element is to make each location user-friendly and accessible for everyone, including those with disabilities (in many cases resulting from the war). Scroll down to learn about specific projects at each garden.

The gardens and people of Ukraine need your help to implement these projects!

Fundraising goal by December 31, 2026: $119,000

Amount raised so far: $8,000

“With the support of Partnerships for Nature and its donors, we have been building nature education and healing programs in wartime Ukraine for our vulnerable populations. Now we need to take the next step to increase our capacities to serve the public.”

Andriy Prokopiv, Director, Lviv University Botanical Garden.

Partnerships for Nature is a Washington State 501c3 nonprofit. Donations may have tax advantages, including from Donor Advised Funds, Qualified Charitable Contributions, and Required Minimum Distributions.

Donors contributing $5,000 or more in 2026 will be invited to an online session with Ukrainian botanical garden leaders in early 2027 to discuss these crucial projects, and to hear how nature education and healing is helping Ukrainians to overcome the trauma of extended wartime conditions.
